Database Mirroring feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server

In Microsoft Official MSDN and TechNet portals, they announced that, the Database Mirroring feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server.

Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature. Use AlwaysOn Availability Groups instead.

The current supported version for these discontinued feature so far is SQL Server 2012.
